Peer to Peer Education

In 2019 A Girl At A Time (SL) hosted a training on Adolescent Mental Health and Childhood Trauma, focusing on "Trauma-Informed Care." The session, delivered by Janet Fyle MBE RCM, brought together 20 participants, including health workers and journalists.

Supported by the European Union and other organizations, the training emphasized the importance of addressing violence against women and girls in Sierra Leone.

EU representative Ivan Navas Fernandez reaffirmed the EU's commitment to women's rights, while Alimatu Dimonekene MBE, the founder of A Girl At A Time, highlighted the need for continued efforts to protect and empower adolescent girls.
